Have I Gone Round The Blogging Bend?
Sunday, September 16th, 2007Only a blogging nutcase would stretch his already almost-at-breaking-point resources to host and write yet another blog.
So that’s exactly what I’ve just done. Blog number 11 in the growing army of scribblings and musings by Terry Didcott, blogger nutcase and author of his own upfall!
Ok, that’s not a word, but it should be. Too many words with down in them, like downfall. Well, I don’t like that word any more because it’s negative and smacks of failure. A word for losers as a certain Rich Jerk might be keen to point out to anyone who utters said word.
So my not-really-a-word word for today is UPFALL, because adding this new blog to my menagerie will contribute to my glorious upfall as it starts to gather readers and interested visitors and then starts to make me some money.

Down They All Go!
Saturday, September 15th, 2007How annoying! All that great news about my self-branded Squidoo lens climbing so high up the ratings ladder as well as my other lenses all doing reasonably well have come to nought.
They’ve all come crashing down again!
My new flagship lens has crashed from #552 to below #3,000 while all the others are below that even. Remember (if you didn’t know) that the lower the number the better the rating.
So what is to be done?
Who knows. By keeping them all updated regularly and continually adding ever more original content should work for them in the long run. Getting visitors to them in the short term and then making regular readers is also the long term road to success with Squidoo lenses.
So I’d better get to it!

My Lens Got Higher!
Thursday, September 13th, 2007A short note about that strangely above averagely performing lens of mine. Well, the one of now fifteen I have created that bears my name and is a further push at self-branding.
Well, it gained even more momentum yesterday after I pinged it the previous evening. What’s its Squidoo rank now?
#363 overall!
#36 in the People category!
That’s pretty damn good, if I do say so myself!
